The sky is a good place to make noise
It seems that, in his poem to Sherlock Holmes, Borges had dictated No va jamás al baño (He never goes to the toilet) where the attendant copied the definite — homophone — No baja más al baño (He no longer goes down to the toilet).
Either way, it’s clear that in the present tense neither Holmes nor Hamlet goes to the toilet.
