Popular loner versus unpopular sociable person (introversion, extroversion, sociability, likeability, gregariousness, popularity)
‘Popular loner’ was somebody else’s tweet. The moment I read it, it set me thinking that I was the exact opposite of a popular loner.
I am easy-going and pleasant to be around. I rarely have problems with anyone, and the people who’ve met me in person generally speak well of me.
Yet my Twitter numbers tell a completely different story. As a public figure, if one can call me that, I am a failure. I am an extremely, abnormally unpopular person who is nevertheless sociable, and likeable.
